It’s the 6th Anniversary of Fenty Beauty, and Rihanna Has a Gift for You
Fenty Beauty launches campaign, Back to Basics, to educate women about versatile Fenty Beauty products for various skin types and makeup skill levels.
SAN FRANCISCO – Attention makeup and skincare gurus! We have some exciting news for you. This year marks the 6th anniversary of Fenty Beauty and the 5th anniversary of Savage x Fenty. To celebrate, Rihanna is launching an educational campaign, Back to Basics, to give women the confidence of embracing their skin types and gaining knowledge of beauty application skills for any skin type and texture.
Fenty Beauty embraces the mission of the brand that everyone can feel included with 50+ foundation shades and easy applicable makeup products. To further accomplish Fenty’s mission, Rihanna has decided to help those who feel excluded from the makeup game due to not knowing how to achieve their makeup look goals based on skill level and skin type.
Four makeup product bundles made for acne/hyperpigmentation skin, dry skin, oily skin and aged skin will be offered on fentybeauty.com to make an easier and faster experience for the Fenty family. The new Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer in Green will be individually released and included with the acne/hyperpigmentation skin bundle to help with concealing inflamed red colored skin. A virtual quiz will also be available on the website for those who need help determining which skin type they have and how to achieve certain makeup look goals. This will lead to skin type results, which bundle matches it and selected Fenty makeup tutorial videos of how to apply certain makeup products based on the quiz results. A QR code that leads to the virtual quiz will be available at every Fenty Beauty location in retail stores.
Professional Fenty Beauty experts will demonstrate the makeup product bundles on notable beauty influencers at a pop-up workshop in six cities. These influencers that match each skin type bundle include Kadeeja Sel Khan modeling for acne/hyperpigmentation skin, Jackie Aina for oily skin, Gabby Morrison for dry skin and Caroline Hirons for aged skin. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Fenty Beauty's wide range of products. Q&A’s with the Fenty beauty experts will also be available at the end of each event, but those who cannot attend will be able to watch recordings on our website.
